How To Know If It’s An Emergency

Dental emergencies are often characterised by chronic pain and swelling. It is essential to get in touch with a dentist early on if you experience any of the following symptoms:

• Are you in severe pain? Extreme toothache and bleeding are signs of an emergency.
• Have you lost a tooth? Immediate treatment can potentially save a tooth. (If you have knocked out a tooth, keep it moist, store it in milk or hold it in your cheek, and call us immediately. Acting quickly gives the best chance of saving the tooth.)
